Google Tasks, kanban board style

Well that was quick… 2023 is almost over. And that means, you may be planning your goals for 2024, so I wanted to bring you a feature in this newsletter that will hopefully make that planning a lot easier.

Google Tasks can now be viewed in this new kanban board style where you can see all your lists in one view. And this feature is present in both the Google Calendar tied to free gmail.com addresses as well as the paid editions.

Thanks, Google! Non-printing characters finally in Google Docs

Extend your Google Forms capabilities with Sheets

Google Forms reliably collects input, but sometimes looking the input back up on the Responses tab can be daunting,  especially if you need to match up who submitted which info.

Sometimes viewing your Google Forms responses can be easier when done in a spreadsheet, and you can achieve this with the click of a button on the Responses tab.

Know what's going on in your Google files

When there is an important document I want to keep tabs on, I like to use the Notifications feature in Google files, because notifications keep me up-to-date on changes on the given Google file. 

For a long time, this feature was only available in Google Sheets.

Finally, it has been introduced in Docs and to some extent in Slides as well.

Now you can project manage more easily within Google Sheet

Years ago, I worked in project management, and also let's face it, as business owners, we have to also be project managers on a daily basis whether we like the title or not. And sometimes people ask me what my preferred project management tool is. My answer is: Google Sheets.

Google Sheets not too long ago received a feature that will put it right up there on the list of project management tools.
